Multi Input / Output Ruggedized Vehicular Power Systems

The VMIOP4X System is comprised of four 19″ rack-mount drawers that work in conjunction to accept multiple inputs from standard power sources and deliver multiple output voltages to military systems. This modular design reflects the latest technology in western military power architecture, and places high emphasis on maximum flexibility in configuration. This rugged system is extremely adaptive and versatile for use in many types of military and other harsh-environment applications.

ADVANCED FEATURES INCLUDE:

  • Ability to work from a vehicle alternator (28VDC), a field diesel generator providing 115VAC single phase or 220VAC single phase, or utility 120/208VAC 3 phase power. As a result, this makes the system adaptable to all possible input voltages in vehicular as well as stationary applications.
  • Compact 19″ rack configuration, multi-functional drawers of 3-5U height each.
  • Quick interconnect method using circular MS connectors for interconnection.
  • Modular approach enabling the system to provide some functions even if a portion of the hardware requires service.
  • Lightweight, so as to meet typical weight constraints.
  • Air-cooling via internal fans makes the system self-sufficient
  • EMI regulated, to reduce overall conducted and radiated noise as specified in MIL-STD-461.
  • Ruggedized against shock, vibration, and humidity to vehicular levels per MIL-STD-810.
  • Environmental proofing (including conformal coating of internal boards) to protect against high humidity and potential fungus growth for extended periods of time.
  • Compliance to vehicular power characteristics per MIL-STD-1275
