Rugged Converters Manufactured By Our EIT Subsidiary Supporting US Army’s Iron Fist Testing!

The U.S. Army has begun testing the newest M2A4 version of its Bradley fighting vehicle that is now equipped with the Israeli “Iron Fist” system. “Iron Fist” protects the vehicle and its crew from anti-tank missiles. The field tests are being conducted at the Army’s base in Fort Hood, Texas. Each “Iron Fist” system contains 4 converters which produce the necessary voltages for the system’s electronics from the Bradley’s 28 VDC vehicle power. These converters are compliant to MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-810, and are manufactured by our EIT Contract Manufacturing Subsidiary. If you have a build to print design for harsh environment applications, please contact us for solutions!
